Work in progress

He should be done this weekend and other ideas are flooding into my brain for more.

What happened to the puppets? I have a handful of sculpted heads rolling around on a shelf in my studio just waiting for bodies.

Where can I buy more time--anybody know?

Here's a face half finished. Was that a creepy chill I just felt. Uhhhhh . ..

I recently opened a My Space account because I noticed so many artists seem to be doing so and having fun networking.

He looks great, love the teeth. I can't wait to see him finished.

I want to start making marionettes. I actually saw one of Scott Radke's marionettes in person and it was amazing. This girl I know in town has one and it is hanging in her living room and as soon as you walk in your eyes go right to it. It was bigger than I thought it would be and heavy. I miss that he doesn't make marionettes anymore. I wish I would have bought one back then. :( I hope you start making puppets, we need more creepy puppet makers in this world.

Hey Michelle ~ I can recommend some books if you want to make them. I have to tell you that the process seems complicated (well, it seems that way for me, anyway). From the interviews I've read, Scott came up with his own unique design so no books can help us out there. But you know, in a way, it helps that you told me it was heavier than you thought. That's actually a key piece of info I've been needing so thanks!!
